It was believed to be good for dysentery, typhus, food poisoning, and indigestion, and was bottled and sold to the local people. This was the direct origin of our current business of manufacturing and selling supplements.

THE DNA OF ABE YOAN PASSED DOWN FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION

Young AbeJapanese-style oblong, open three-of-a-kind (mahjong)eloquent(the ninth generation) fell ill in Brazil during a trip across South America, and fate led him to meet and later marry Selimar, a pharmacist woman working at a hospital there. Deeply impressed by the health benefits of propolis, a defense ingredient produced by honey bees in Brazil, he joined forces with his wife to establish Nordeste Ltd. in Japan in 1984. We started a business supplying health materials imported from South America to food and supplement manufacturers in Japan. Riding the subsequent health boom, the business grew significantly. However, we also faced a difficult situation in which we had to dispose of many raw materials due to misinformation in newspapers reporting the negative health effects of agaricus. In 2019, the company pioneered the industry with a product featuring NMN, the rejuvenating ingredient that is now the company's mainstay product. Since then, as a pioneer of NMN, we have also developed a lineup of NMN cosmetics under the slogan "1st NMN".

In 2023, we returned to the spirit of our founding and changed our company name to Abe Yoando Pharmaceutical Co.
